Fluffi comes from a prestigious family and lives in an extravagant white mansion on a hilltop. An obedient daughter, she always listens to her parents. Because of this, she speaks quietly, keeps her clothes clean and tidy and doesn’t visit the beach because it dirties her feet. Instead, she practices the piano and ballet every day. As a well-raised lady, she has many rules to follow. Most of the time, she does not speak her mind, but tries to hint at what she really means. Unfortunately, this only makes her friends confused.

At night, the starlight projector in her bedroom shines hundreds of stars onto the ceiling. While waves splash and cicadas chirp, Fluffi is soothed to sleep beneath their twinkling canopy.

One day, Fluffi became ill, and all her friends came to visit her at the white mansion. They tried to prepare some medicine to make her better. But careless Dougie forgot to turn off the stove and the medicine boiled dry. This caused a fire in the kitchen. "Run!" everybody shouted. Luckily, the fire was quickly put out and no one was injured. But everyone did have to evacuate the mansion. While she was outside, Fluffi happened to see a meteor shower in the sky. "That meteor shower is more beautiful than the stars twinkling on my ceiling," she thought. Inspired by the stunning view, she hoped that she would one day explore the world beyond her comfort zone.
