Whiskers was born to be a leader. He is charming and good at communicating with others. When he faces difficulty, he can think of solutions calmly.

Whiskers is always curious about the future and anything he doesn’t know. If he sees a road he has never taken, he will follow it and see where it leads. His family members always tell him that the unknown world is full of danger, but he thinks discovering the unknown is an exciting adventure. A curious explorer, Whiskers likes to stand on high places to look for new things with his telescope. He also swims every day in the waters surrounding Happy Island, wishing to find something he has never seen before.

Among his friends, Whiskers is the big brother and leader. Sometimes though, his friends find him stubborn and a little talkative. They even make fun of him, calling him "the big brother who controls everything".

He heard that there were goats that could climb a snowy mountain, monkeys that liked to soak in hot springs, and many more new things outside the island. This made him think, "There have to be lots of new and fun things beyond Happy Island!"

Day by day, questions emerged in Whiskers’ mind when he stared at the sea: "Is this how I'm going to live forever? Is every day of every year going to be the same? Where can I make more friends?"
